BOOK LIST (to print) -- INDIA
PODCASTS:
BOOK SPOTLIGHTS:
I picked up a book at a used book sale that I haven't finished yet but is such a good read if you want a picture of life in early 20th century India. My son-in-law was born and raised in India--I'm curious to get his take. It's called 'Two Under the Indian Sun' by Jon and Rumer Godden. You may have heard of Rumer Godden who wrote several popular children's books--at least in my childhood. In 1914, after the outbreak of war, these two little sisters left London and returned to India and spent the next 5 years there. This book is a view of colonial India through the eyes of children.
