The new books for January are now available in the store!
We are moving into stories of the American Revolution in My America Story Book. I focused more on stories of the every day family than on the major battle scenes, but key events are also included. In the World Freedom Series, we have reprinted another one of H.E. Marshall's wonderful history books. This time she brings the story of France to life. In the Cousins series, you will find two of Lucy Fitch Perkin's Twin books: The French and the Swiss Twins. And finally, this month's Sunshine Series is Little Men and I have included a short biography of its author, Louisa May Alcott. If you read the intro Catch the Vision book, I told how Bronson Alcott--Louisa's father--was an education reformer and many of the ideas we implement here in WEH were part of his home education plan. Little Men shows heart-based learning in action in many ways. It's become a favorite book among moms who are trying to break away from traditional schooling. Please note that with Christmas (and continued problems from Covid), shipments may take longer than normal this month. Contact us if you have any concerns.
